# On-chain data services

### Description of On-chain Services

UATU's on-chain data services are designed to provide users with comprehensive access to information stored on various blockchains. This includes data such as transaction details, smart contract interactions, token transfers, and more. By offering a suite of on-chain data services, UATU aims to empower users to access and analyze blockchain data in a seamless and efficient manner.

The on-chain services include, but are not limited to:

* Transaction data: Access and analyze transaction details, including metadata, input and output addresses, and transaction values.
* Smart contract data: Access and analyze smart contract interactions, including contract code, state changes, and transaction history.
* Token transfers: Analyze token transfers between addresses, including the details of the tokens involved and the transfer amounts.
* Blockchain protocol-level data: Access and analyze data related to the underlying blockchain protocols, such as consensus mechanisms, governance changes, and protocol upgrades.
* Oracles: Analyze the data provided by on-chain oracles, assess the accuracy and reliability of their inputs.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://uatu.gitbook.io/uatu/uatu-services/on-chain-data-services.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
